This quilt is not quite done.
I like it because it created itself while I was cleaning out fabrics I don’t want —
(WHAT?!! you ask?!! Fabrics you don’t want?!!).
There was some serendipity involved. Some sense of ‘clearing out’.

I like it when things come together quickly because then I feel they are somewhere just out of my control. It makes me feel like I am just a conduit through which the idea is happening. That always makes me happy.
It’d be doubled if I had found a use for fabrics I didn’t want. Kudos!
I like that sense, too, turningturning, and also of ‘mistakes’ that work out nicely…
