If you’re in the mood to celebrate the Equinox with a smile, take a quick listen (less than 2M) to the Detroit Elementary School’s cover of Pharrell’s ‘Happy’.
Happy Spring, fellow winter survivors!

Ah, Dee, it was 70 here today and the grass had to be mowed because it was knee-high–one of the advantages of living in this corner of the world. Enjoyed seeing your circle/feet post, but the quote at the end is very optimistic, for it assumes that there is progress…having studied history, herstory and having observed social change for a long time, I can no longer put my faith in the idea of progress…wish it were true, though!
best, nadia
I share the sentiment which is probably why I want to see such optimistic words in print. I think I might have believed that some new world order was on the way at one time…
The sky is beautiful and bright here, but our hearts are heavy. It’s been a hard day and so I welcomed the beautiful crocus (crocuses are happening in blog land!) and the voices of the children especially. Thanks Dee.
I am almost afraid to go to your blog and see what’s going on, Nancy. Sorry that it’s so hard.
