    I’m sorry to hear that there is disappointment to be countered…your little houses are the perfect escape. They look like beach houses to me. I just love the gray background fabric.

    Yeah, I am working on feeling lighter about a lot of things, including this discouragement… I had not made the association to beach houses, but I see it now! That’s a light and warm image, isn’t it? Cabanas on the beach?

    Restrained? The houses contain the previous saturated colors, but the SURROUND is more muted. I guess that makes a big difference.

    I find I’m warming to the increase of spaces in your latest approach? I think my eye like to rest, breathe maybe even stretch between beautiful edges and objects.

    creating space for the eye to rest is a lot of what I’m thinking about Maggie… in and around the house, too, regarding, esp., clutter.

    And Peggy, yes to satisfaction of stitch — decided to back these Row Houses with batting and a back… but the layers are still soft, making stitching enjoyable!
