The light on the way home from the airport tonight was indescribably beautiful.
The pack has shrunk. We’re back to three.
Fell asleep last night to the muffled booms of Boston’s fireworks. Woke to zero degrees and a windchill factor of -13.
It was a short walk today. With three scarves, long johns, hat and hood and my below-the-knee down parka, only my ankles got cold. K found his legs catching a chill. Finn managed just fine, though it seems a walk in these temps exhausts him.
Tomorrow is a new chapter. It can’t help but be. Ready or not, here we go!
