Lament to a prompt

If you’re up for a lament without much by way of sentence structure, here’s my response to a prompt in class this morning (using a bunch of song/nursery rhyme fragments/Catholic echos). I may come back tomorrow and add the text but for now here’s the video. It runs 6:45 minutes. Sorry about the hair that kept bothering my lower lip.

Dang Dee…you are GOOD! The way you weave familiar words into current meaning. The repeating of certain phrases creating a rhythm that drives the message home. And then the movement from words/phrase to words/phrase. It flows. What a great prompt this one was. I love when you post these videos of you! 🙂

i would love to see the text! to digest it as a whole. be able to refer back to it. maybe later when things slow down. i’m wondering how did you get so damn smart! your mind is fascinating.. remembering and reconstructing it all into today! my god have we ever lived through a whole bunch of ‘stuff’.[guess that’s what ‘lifetime’ means..]
BTW -Do you see ‘pictures’ when those thoughts flow almost like a slide show morphing?

Thanks me-mi. I will post this weekend. I don’t see images. It’s more like listening. Or opening. I dont know. With a long menu style prompt, though I use this trick routinely: whenever the flow is slowing I look back at the list of ideas and that gets it going again.

I wonder if others are having the same trouble. Once I’m too tired to clean, rake or sew today, I’ll type in the words, so at least you cd read if you want.

Wow you had me totally spell bound … such a way with words. I had forgotten that I wanted to come back to this … so glad I didn’t forget. After 3 coats the basement ceiling is done … and I can get back to doing fun stuff. Happy Easter!
    Loved the recording very much!

Thanks Saskia. Sorry if commenting is difficult. I think it’s an astrological problem.
