My writing group, on hiatus for the summer, met for lunch on Thursday. It was really nice for a lot of reasons, not the least of which was the habitual and resuscitative trading of political news and reactions. There we were, out on a pretty patio in Lincoln, with KO reading aloud the most recent “Shouts and Murmurs”. It’s hilarious and perfect for this hellacious week.
