Here in New Mexico, we just celebrated Dia de Los Muertos, Day of the Dead and let me tell you, the “dead” have risen. New Mexico labeled the least engaged political state has just risen over the top in early and absentee voting…over 430,000 have already voted compared to 250,000 in 2014…Hail Mary that they voted Blue!
Fingers crossed!! We vote by mail in Washington, which deprives us of some election day comradery but works well over all…consistently high voter turnout. I voted two weeks ago, as soon as I got my ballot. I’m in a pretty blue area, but I’m rooting for Beto and Stacy and every Democrat everywhere because we are not the people Donald Trump thinks we are.
As we drove through the neighborhood this morning I said to Don, “If Beto wins I’m going to put balloons on our yard sign to celebrate”
I dare to hope …
If Beto wins, heck, I’LL put out balloons.

Such good good news!

And Andrew Gilliam! I voted two weeks ago and Massachusetts returns are dull compared to elsewhere but still. Watching the returns now.
Jumping in to belatedly say how much I enjoyed working at the polls with you, Dee!
Yes! Same here. Hope to see you again before the next election!
