Wearying. Dismal. But not tragic. Lots of moving parts getting new care plan in place. Had a good writing class though! That’s always a pick-me-up.

Dee, life moves in mysterious ways sometimes, yes? Glad for the writing class and interesting how the human form (bottom left) invokes different thoughts in these pieces. xo

    Things do pass, but still…
Your works here seem to reflect that there’s a lot of things & people to cope with. Sorry. Hope it’s a peaceful weekend for you.

The collages were interesting with repetitive figures I could perceive within all the different backgrounds. They’d make a fine set of blank note cards (for sale, though you might think about changing the title to something less formidable…but, then again…”Wretched” might just be a selling point–What do you send out to friends (assuming snail maiI) when the situations are wretched and you just can’t manage to relive them in words….or when a friend feels wretched. If the title was low on the back along with your name, a note of condolence or get well or how can I help could be written by the sender. I’m rambling. The temperature today went from 50 to twenty. I was unable to nap (needed to desperately) due to new downstairs neighbors Pomeranian whose separation anxiety was not helped by the many many many sirens and beepers all day so add barking for five hours. Anyhow I did have a nice writing session Monday (absent for sickness January) and a very moving Sangha session Friday night. I hear there will be sun Saturday and Sunday. May your Birthday be satisfying…maybe even fun. Love to you.

When I hear about the noise you endure, I just shudder. You poor thing. How unbearable it must be at times. I’m really glad you’re feeling well enough to get to your writing class. Reading the work you post online is always a treat. And thanks for the bday wishes!

Today, the day of your birth, Feb. nine,
No matter how “wretched” things become, you shine.
You do what needs doing, speak truth, and are caring,
No matter what heavy load you are bearing…
Let this day, be one of happiness, joy and positive direction,
No matter how many calories, let there be luscious cake AND
most of all, Happy Birthday Dee with affection.

Marti is a hard act to follow, but I, too, want to wish you a very happy birthday. May this coming year be one of fulfillment and growth

I’m sorry Dee. I keep hoping things will ease up a bit. Odds have it they will, but when is the question?

After a traumatic and upended week of our own here in Crab Meadow I’ve been telling myself that cleanse happens whether we embrace it or not. Better to embrace and move forward on a new path. Literal death and figurative deaths of plans, hopes, faith seem to be the unavoidable February du Jour. Maybe March, with his Ides, will take care of business and spirits will lighten for spring. Only 18 days to go.

Latest glitch? She gave banking info to a spammer posing as tech support. Account and Routing number. Had to cancel one of my cards right before going out to bday dinner (linked to her peapod). Will probably have to close her current bank account and open new one then arrange with SSA to redirect SSDI direct deposit. I was so furious I almost couldn’t see straight. At least I already have a power of attorney signed up. Arg! I will text later to see what’s up at your end.
