beautiful photo, what did you think of the book? Have not been able to finish a John Banville books yet and have tried a few times…
I found his descriptions of the characters’ interior states absolutely fascinating. The inclusion of Zeus and Mercury as characters would have been clumsy in another author’s hand, but I thought he pulled it off. I do need a dictionary with Banville, but I like that about him.
