Pat Schneider originated the method we use in my Monday writing group and maybe your group as well.? Beautiful photos and I love the Blake quote too. Heard Mueller this morning and spent an hour of analysis with NPR as well. The transcript is also available on line. So far, I’m with Nancy Pelosi on holding back from impeachment and waiting for the whole process to play out in the courts. Also impeachment if successful witll take years and leave a vastly more dangerous VP in his place….Shouldn’t we be learning Russian and/or Chinese?
It is the method used in my weekly class as well: the Amherst Writers and Artists method.
I’m skipping volume one of the Mueller report and am about 89 pages into volume two (on obstruction). It reads like a movie script.
I may have shifted from deferring to Pelosi’s sense of timing back to shaking my head and wondering what the hold up is. Yes trump would use the lack of a senate conviction as a win, but I think he’ll use the absence of an impeachment process as a win, too.
I remember the boss at a staff meeting saying we should all start studying Russian. Wasn’t funny then, ominous now. The staff meeting also predicted a Dumpf win in 2017 and again in 2020. Very disheartening.
A win in 2020 is so in the realm of possibility that sts I can’t sleep at night.
My Dad used to say, “Si caes siete veces, sube ocho” which translates to, “if you fall seven times, rise eight” and to that I will add a 4 letter word, VOTE.
If Dems came out in even slightly increased numbers, trump wouldn’t stand a chance. We have to be part of the second blue wave, for sure.
strange days
So fucking strange
