Rain and expectations

The rain and wind come. We open windows. Ahhh. Today: writing. Grocery shopping (cold cucumber soup would be good! Coconut milk for new ice cream maker… ). Also today: managing expectations about Mueller hearing. I wish it was going to be a game changer. I doubt it will be a game changer.

I don’t know which is harder to bear: the passive, corrupt GOP or the passive, impotent Democrats.

Those little airplane wings for ears (((smile)))
I can barely watch or listen anymore…so much disappointment and frustration. I agree, no game changer, but hopefully “something”!!

I am hearing its do or die for impeachment in September. I never thought trump would last until the midterms. I remember thinking: how can we possibly wait that long. And yet, here we are. It is hard to put so much faith in Nadler and Schiff, after having put so much faith in Mueller.

I get him from Rod Crow all the time. This one was gorgeous. Must admit, though I envy his enthusiastic rage, I cringe at his use of the ‘C’ word for insult and collaterally making calling a man women the insult, just as I dislike the ‘D’ word for insult. But, it’s just a detail and a preference.

PS–what was useful was NPR devoting time to read the report (few have) and it has been illuminating. The end of the hearings may not be the end game, but have you considered that the end game is not one smoking gun-event but cumulative smoke from the many guns that have been fired so far, albeit via tweets.

I, too, love Finn’s ears on alert. I, too, wonder why the Democrats have been so flaccid in the face of the egregious bullshit pouring out of the White House and the Justice Department. WTF.

It was be RATIONAL to think that Mueller’s testimony tomorrow will be a turning point toward impeachment. But I know better than to expect the rational. Never mind the moral, the courageous, the Constitutionally-supported.
