Yeah. That video was a peak moment this morning. I really don’t think he has a clue how generally despised he is.

Wm Barr is so very dangerous.

I’m reading and watching all the pain and disquiet that seems to be all over US right now from my little house in SE Australia. I truly feel for you all, it must be totally overwhelming, as you say, Dee. Voting. Overwhelming hIM with a nation of rejection, it has to be the only way?

Yeah it’s really really hard being an American right now. So much turns on this election. So much effort by trump and his henchmen to undermine the process. But early voting has begun and I’m hoping that many many Democrats get out and vote early.

I dare to hope … and yes, to see the dawning recognition as the words reached him … knowing they will be replayed over and over … cold comfort in the face of all the pain he has visited on this country

My first words this morning: FUCK the NY Times. I HATE their headlines and THEN for the Sunday Review their huge leader (is that what you call it?) is “America is Ungovernable” give me a fucking break! We UN-governed because the GOP is worse than DOA every single minute, (when they are engaged) and have been relentlessly engaged by aiding and abetting foreign and domestic terrorists posing as governments, who will take us down *** if we all continue to be stupid**** enough to allow this to continue. I believe enough people will vote, but will that is only the first battle in this war. And, because I am to old to protest during a pandemic, I’m going to send out today (and perhaps every day) this article to every person and social media platform I can have: https://wagingnonviolence.org/2020/09/10-things-you-need-to-know-to-stop-a-coup/

I read that article (the linked one) am sending to boys, even tho I already sent them “On Tyranny” — one of the big take aways was if the election does not go to the winner, to be sure to call it a coup.

Front page NYTimes today suggesting Barrett would shift court slightly to the right. SLIGHTLY?!

I know! the NYT front page headline was just as disgustingly just-this-side of right-wing, Insinuating that tRump has some God Given power which he does not. As though we are fools, which we are not. As we know it yet another criminal attempt to disregard the Constitution, blah blah blah Its like they are warming us up for him to win at every next step he takes. NYT and the WP are the boiling water of propaganda that many frogs (who bother to read anymore) keep jumping into. I can’t even watch Rachel anymore because I scream at her for not being able to avoid discussing the shit piles in the middle of the road. But, I’ll be ok. I’m fine. But damn I’ll be ready to hit the street if necessary – with my neighbors, with my flag that says “A coup is a coup is a coup”, or something like that. Thank you for letting me rant!

Ranting is in order. I’m not fighting the nomination but to the SCOTUS. They have the votes. Period. But I sure wish Adam Schiff and Jerry nadler would begin impeachment proceedings on Wm Barr, who as we know is busily plotting on how to disregard the ballots that arrive after November3.

The how to stop a coup article is great. We need to prepare NOW. Voting in vast numbers against Lord Dampnut is necessary but not sufficient. He will *try* to stay in power but he’ll get away with it only if we let him.

Agree. The goal posts keeping moving. We have to stay current. I do wish the house would start impeachment proceedings against William Barr.
