Truth, for sure. And as I had another one of those sleepless nights last night I may have been doing my version of this? Finding what was near and precious and being grateful. I know, that doesn’t sound like me, but I was feeling a little desperate… and there’s a LOT, once you you begin to think about it, in many different forms. To to keep out the worries, and limiting myself to comforting memories, I couldn’t stop myself from looking for more. Perhaps an experience better than sleep?
Another great collage, Dee. Missed you at the virtual opening. Glad to see you submitted more works!

I was brain dead and a million miles off course at the time of the opening. Drooling in a slouch in front of the tv.

Aren’t we all feeling desperate? I have this feeling of the end point moving further away no matter how we approach it.

Dee, a rosey collage and thoughtful quote. What it made me think of is how at my lowest, I try to do for others. That giving often helps me too…so in giving we are also receiving an it is sometimes the little things or those closest that are often overlooked, so purposefully bringing that focus in also helps.
    Be well my friend. xo

In giving we are also receiving .. what Nancy said! Lately it’s one of the few things that really lifts my spirits and feed my soul.

“we are forced to find precious what is near” … never truer than in those first fraught weeks of the pandemic, when everything seemed so tenuous

So many saying, “I can’t wait until I don’t have to think about our government every minute.” I feel the same. Though I will never go back to being as disinterested as I used to be.
