Walked around the lake

We walked around the lake. Saw lots of neighbors, none of whom we know.

Cut through Weeks Field for some fetch.

Earlier, I emptied flower pots, picking out the terra cotta chips and stones, unthreading roots. Yesterday I filled two barrels with oak leaves and catalpa pods.

A spring impulse: to get rid of shit. My list is long. I plan to mostly use a neighbor free site on Facebook.

My insta posts automatically posted to Facebook this week. I have no idea why.

And, where is Grace?

You are braver than me, in many ways.
RE: gardening, I am still holding back my urge to rake leaves and buy 20 bags of mulch. The dog will have a deep mud trench from the back door to the back fence, soon. Sweet that you be in the “Our Choice” exhibit/protest. xx – M

Seeing as we didn’t have a winter it doesn’t feel all that brave. And yes I’m excited to be part of the “Our Choice” show.

Look at that sky! Finney must love it! I fell into some varied “Swedish Death Cleaning” videos the other day. I always have more I want to purge 😉 I feel like I’ve been doing it forever. Right now I can’t get all of the unused kitchenware out of my head! haha

Thank you Mo. I get new posts in an app that I tap Daily many times and when I didn’t see a new one from Grace I thought she’d gone silent. Thank you.

True. Daffodils in February… baby bird feathers in early March. Are there some bugs and worms that should remain undisturbed? Or is it such a crap shoot, be like that sharp-shinned hawk? A dark climate change haiku somewhere in there.

We usually leave some leaf litter near the fences. And it’ll take weeks to get to all the beds.

Would love to read that haiku!
