I have been wondering if connecting the blocks would be a breeze or a bitch…glad that they came together well. Elongating them is interesting. We can see them anew.
So far they are connecting up easily. The longer vertical seams might be a little trickier just because of the weight of the squares, but not much, I shouldn’t think.
Looks masterful and like a real bitch to make the connections so masterfully! The elongation is arresting! So so lovely.
It hasn’t been a bitch at all. It is so gratifying (and a little intimidating at times) to stitch into others’ squares. It is like having a dialogue.
wow !
So glad to hear it is going well, I was wondering how that might go! Taking the Looong view is sure interesting!
Those looking pic are errors that arise from time to time when I post from my phone. I have no idea why. Should be fixed now.
It’s beautiful, Dee. And all!
Thanks, B. Unlike most readers, you’ll be able to see it in person before it gets sent away.
I sooo love these – the colours, the evolving design, the stitching – everything about them! 😊
Thanks so much.
Goodness, I love seeing the places where they come together! Well done, Dee, this is just so grand! (ps I think I mentioned it, but just in case, that white basting thread should slip right out of mine)
It is grand. (There’s another one of those words. Like “swell”!). Yes the white threads will be pulled out but for now they are still acting as a truing measure for me.
