Because a friend was in town for the Tuesday writing workshop yesterday, I rearranged the furniture in my little writing space. I’m gonna leave it this was for now.
Rain’s spattering on the skylight and Finn is relaxing nearby. Sigh, he sighs. Sigh, I sigh. Sometimes things are simple and simply good.
A few more wacky novel cover ideas follow.
Flapping sheet photo is from recognizable ad campaign, so that’s an issue.
Really like the last one .. it screams you!!
Agree with Tina that the last image is so compelling. In my previous comment about potential book covers, I noted that your cloth samples would be important to me for your book cover. Do these women have some of your cloth on their dresses? The fact that the women seem to be holding up their dresses intrigues and perfectly illustrates the weight of cloth…
The space is so welcoming! And the images omg Dee! Fantastic. Go have Ken flap some sheets in the wind and take pictures. The. You own it outright.
Can’t wait to see what you come up with
I like the second one…room for the title/author, room to wonder, kind of mysterious – pulling a viewer in.
You have so many of your amazing images to use, I would stay away from the work of others (copyright) issues. Just my thoughts.
I love your writing space…it is so ‘author-y’. To live and create in such a cozy, art-filled, book-filled…skylight and dog filled space is very appealing. I want to linger and look at every book title and piece of art on the walls. Beautiful.
I like the 1st one best. The hand against the flower speaks of a great love. We need more words to address different types of love?
