These will be houses. Or the spaces between them. I like the look of the black counter as a design component, don’t you? Almost like stained glass. But I can’t think about that now. Sometimes you have to stick with what you’ve got going or it never gets finished.

why not think of cloth in terms of stained glass, it’s just another way of looking at the the way things go together ahe?
Oh that could be useful and I wasn’t dismissing the stained glass idea generally. But in this case I have a quilt pretty much laid out and I dont want to introduce black outlines now because it would radically change things
perhaps for the next one then have a look at Jeff Hamilton’s linework with lead and glass
