Beautiful images Dee. Makes me realize how very fortunate we are. Luxury of clean white curtains, sunshine through a tall window on shiny wooden floors. Even the honey pot a lovely to look at luxury.
Not normally one for daily gratitude, these evil days in our US are a sharp reminder of “there but for the grace of god…” and I should be grateful for what I have. I too am blessed with these simple luxuries and a life not likely (but I suppose it could happen) tossed into chaos.
Even with these luxury I feel despair for these young children tortured by the POTUS and his gangster cronies.
Any time is a good time for gratitude. I bought those curtains this morning. Replaced yellowish tattered ones. Felt incredibly lucky to be able to worry about and afford a new pair. The sun. The privacy. The shelter. Safety.

No words….but Elijah Cummings’ words today….
He was spectacularly eloquent.
Wow floor to ceiling windows .. hard wood floors. Not to mention I can still see that great stove in my minds eye. Beautiful ..
Those are 96” long windows and one of the nicest features of our living area — they face south and we are bathed in light year round.
Your way of putting prints together is genius
Well that’s a new idea!
I always love the fabrics you are willing to throw together…they work! And, that jar of goodness!!! Oh my!
That jar was a delicious fig paste!
But if I were to use a word for this wordless post, it would be luminous
