Amazing images Dee. Love the stitch grid in there and the burst of life from these. Equally enjoy seeing all (just some, I’m sure 😉) of your materials…toys for play!
I do love your house forms … which reminds me, I got a copy of The Passionate Quilter after reading your recommendation in a long-ago post … it was a good get, thank you!
With time and patience there is no stopping creativity .. I’ve always wanted to try machine stitching on paper
5th photo: mountains, elephant, rising globe and I think of rising above what presents so to that:
As I watched the hearings for Ketanji Brown Jackson, a refrain from a poem by Maya Angelou, Still I Rise, came pouring into my head:
“You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.”
AND she will, and she will be confirmed and the joy for all of us, will rise as well.
What a disgrace these gop senators have been. Trashing her, the institution, the intelligence of onlookers.
