Sunday peaches

I’m making a peach crisp. There’s ice cream in the fridge. Sometimes I think it doesn’t get much better than that.

We are currently enjoying the “Cape effect.” That’s when enough neighbors and others go to their beach houses and leave the city noticeably quieter, noticeably emptier. I love it.

Here’s a backyard photo from August, 2014. Next week I’ll be dyeing with indigo out in Central Mass. Can’t wait. It feels like coming full circle since it was indigo that sparked my interest in Eliza Lucas Pinckney in the first place.

This is also a test.

The following is for my benefit only: regarding the History post that will not update on my phone.

I’ve cleared my caches. When I save a draft from laptop, changes do not show up on phone. I’ve tried publishing from laptop, to see if that made a difference. It did not.

I can preserve the inputs from on the laptop, I just can’t get them to “take” on my phone which is where I would continue editing and would add photos.

However, when I google my blog I find the most recent published version from the laptop.

It’s so weird I hardly even know how to frame a question to the help folks.

The good news? I’ve learned how to find and load previous versions, something I could not do last week.

So let’s see if this saves properly. From my laptop.

(Now I’m on my phone. The correct text is here).

Oh my, dare I mention your peach crisp to J. He’d be drooling for sure (as am I). He talks of his mom’s cobblers frequently. I did tell him: “Oh man!”, lips licked 😂
I would have no way of even beginning to know the answer to your complicated, weird question. I am having trouble commenting in certain places ever since updating my computer (isn’t updating supposed to improve things?!). I’m ignoring the problem and finding workarounds…but you…you need to know!!
Love the last pic. I have quite a few similar pics now that J. can walk with me again. 🙂 The best.
