The city sparkles and I love the views.

Made cookies today. Ribs, coleslaw, and grits for dinner.
Ken arrives tomorrow.
Here is drawing #2 by Billy. Again, what a lively line!

Listening to GOP assholery about climate change on TV right now. Gawd.
Project 2025: dismantle NOAA, lease federal land for mining, oil, and lumber. Would they keep FEMA?

Loved this quip that I saw online: Yes, I’m a single issue voter: I never want to hear his voice again.

The lawn looks like green velvet. I still miss the sparkling city lights in San Francisco; it all looks so magical from a distance. Now I can see the stars that were invisible in the city. Your brother’s drawings are wonderful.
Three sides of the house have views.
Looking at the beauty of these twinkling lights through my astigmatism eyes. Never really been a city girl, but sure do love the lights.
What a great lizard! Love the neck and the toes 🙂
What kind of cookies? I’ll drool from afar here.
What a dedicated use of denim!
Chocolate chip with walnuts. Easy on the chocolate chips.
Yum! I’m allergic to walnuts…so I’d just double the chocolate chips 😉
the views are amazing … but the latest drawing is even better … I hope there will be more to come!
Me too!
Please notify your brother that he has gotten this 78 year old negative old woman to get out the sketch book and pen…. if he can…I can…. thank you. And I plan to use my left hand…. (I am right handed also)…..
I am imagining all kinds of good things for Billy and what creating art might do him.
The photos of the city lights, and that one of the pool on insta are lovely.
Glad K is there now.
xx
So pretty. Such a lovely place to call home. I’m glad Billy’s able to doodle too!
It is very pretty.
