Catch up. Sleep and pix

Falling asleep on the couch.

Shared this ornament elsewhere but had to again. Isn’t it something else?

And somehow this botched ginger cake turned into an excellent bread pudding.

Hope everyone had a lovely holiday.

How endearing to see your book ornament, charming, whimsical and makes your tree so very special! I could see a garland of The Weight of Cloth ornaments affixed to fir branches all across your mantle.

The mark of an excellent chef/cook is the ability to go with the flow; if a recipe doesn’t turn out as expected. Stuck cake, voila, delicious rich, bread pudding. I’ve often saved a dessert disaster with mounds of whipped cream; can’t see what’s underneath but it all tastes good!
