Today I wrote about gardening in my Thursday workshop. Maybe I’ll post tomorrow but for now I’m really, really pooped.

Drove today for the first time since the surgery. My neighbor’s mother died and I went to buy flowers and naturally picked up a few other items. Parked at a distance, walked down the loooong cement staircase to the store’s entrance, shopped, and walked back (but not up the stairs). Maybe I shouldn’t be surprised at how tired I am.

I’m gonna see Alvin Ailey this weekend. Can’t tell you how excited I am. It’s been many years since I saw them last.

Dee~ It sounds like you did great today! those are all big steps. Was it your driving hip that you had done?
I really like the bottom image. The monochrome tones speak to me of earth and days gone by. Love the elephant in the house 🙂

Well guess what? I got up today (the next day) and discovered I forgot to take my meds. That could explain the lack of energy.
Sounds like plenty of reasons to be pooped. I keep forgetting you’ve just been through major surgery. And that first image is a stunner. Is that a quilt with the sun behind it or a digital piece?
That’s a double exposure of two photos: one of a quilt in progress (that included a spoonflower ordered cloth with that roofline on it) and a photo of a paper assemblage that itself had been double exposed with a PCC prompt image.
Oy!!
I love the bottom collage too. Gardens have so much to teach us…
oops, that was me…Deb G.
