A short post just to say we continue. We keep our eyes open.

The wolf cannot be allowed to disappear. Here, back lit, it fades away.
Meanwhile, we’re cleaning out the garage. My sister’s senior project is on the curb. It’s a big triptych made out of heavy particle board. The hinges are broken. I have nowhere to put it and lack the will to find it another home.
But at least I can share some of her drawings here.

Actually it rained after we put things on the curb and so this is back in the garage. After posting these pictures I think maybe I am not ready to let it go.

Oy I thought your wolf was a squirrel. Oops. Love the new quilt! And Noreen’s senior project. I wonder what grade she got for it!? I do wish I knew what she was thinking when she was making it. My senior project included a large horseshoe crab and the hanger painting along with a lot of other unconnected one offs. I was sure they made sense. Those professors must have realized early on I was nuts. Oy. PS keep the art. I will put it in my studio if you want. It can balance the 4’ long trout
Oh dear a squirrel?! Guess it needs more definition.
I’ll keep the triptych for you. I doubt they had references to tarot or astrology to make sense of it, but who knows. It was the 70’s.
PS I just saw the wolf. I missed him before. Ain’t that always the case with wolves.
Dee~ I love how the wolf is there, but not boldly in your face…he is always there, right? But the top pic…? What am I supposed to be seeing? I see a mouse in a rowboat type thing (w/ a rope handle).
Your sister had so much in her. She had an eye, for sure. I wish it had not been so hard for her (and you). Nice that Ginny offered her art piece a home.
Take her on home to dream Finney-Boy 🙂
The top silhouette is a mouse riding a leaf as a sled.
Okay, well I was a little right! haha
She was a gifted artist.
Yes.
I’m glad to know your sister’s art found a home … and likewise that you were able to let it go
