There is peace in the summer garden. I hear the jays calling out to each other. The rise and fall of cicada. A tweeting bird. And another, another. A pedestrian passes by while on her phone and still the peace holds.
*this post because I don’t want people to worry.

Great seeing so many bees 🐝 even greater is that you’re here knowing that you’re loved …
Yes and that comes home to me every time I sit in the “new room” with the quilt you made me on my lap.
“New room” ??? What did I miss?
Oh ha! The “new room” is an addition we put on the house more than 20 years ago!
Love the beautiful flowers and bees!
💚🕊️
Me too. Bumble bees and honey bees.

Thank you Grace. I’ll email it to you.
Dee~ A beautiful, thoughtful post. I love when you add lil video clips, which bring your spaces to life across the country. Your garden’s peace is felt from here in the video and gorgeous photos (you’ve really had some stellar ones lately!). “New Room”, eh?!! My ex’s family had a “Little Room” – which was…you guessed it, very little! You’ve got me thinking about how we relate to spaces and the names we give them. I have been calling our last residence the “Old Place”. Will consider this idea more. (((HUGS)))
Our addition is 26 years old now. The name sticks.
