The first one hits me most powerfully AND I think it is incredibly beautiful. So, even ignoring what I know of your life, I see many layers of meanings inside and beyond… all encompassing. Not to lessen your other work at all, which I love and respect and admire.

I have no idea when I started that piece. The sky is linen dyed with black walnuts from the yard. Some indigo dunks in the mountains. A former linen tunic too.

Dee~ That first one, I am slammed…”your heart pours out” I think to myself. Funny how a cloth begun long ago becomes ready to emerge in just the right moment.
The placement in process pic – it is so interesting to see how you work. I can imagine you there, standing over it, rearranging the pieces (Mmm…no this one needs to go over here not under etc.) until you are satisfied with the composition. Really great to see.
The long cloth, long view has an inviting, but lonely feel to me and reminded me of this writing I recently read.
