Got my Covid and flu shots yesterday and, for the first time ever, I am wiped.
Tylenol, electric blanket, Salon Pas for the lower back. Probably not gonna attend Newton’s weekly Saturday protest today.

I got just Covid shot on Tuesday and was bed bound Wednesday and useless but feeling better Thursday.. I’ll get another Covid shot in January. I always have to plan to set aside at least 36 hours.
I know of others for whom this is true. It’s just never been me before. I’ll still be able to get to Farmer’s Market but that might be it for me today.
Dee~ Aw, rest up. My flu shot wiped me out for almost a week this time. I usually react in some way, but this felt like more.
I did spot that…but have no idea what I’m looking at.
Wow you poor thing. I guess that means your immune system is working?
It’s part of a wasp’s nest. Probably fell out of the tree nearby.
Dee~ Ah, I thought some kind of nest…wasp, eh? Good thing no stings could be had!! I react to those as well. You should see the several mosquito bites on my arms! They finally stopped itching, now to loose the hard, hot swelling! 😂 Oy.
You poor thing! Sounds annoying. This nest was empty, fortunately.

I never get them both at the same time. I always get sick from each one so I would rather space them out. I got my flu shot last week. Was down for two days. Next week I will get the Covid shot. I will be sick for at least 2 days with that as well. Oh well…..gotta do it.
