I have chosen “Jackets, blankets & sheets” as my theme (there is a list to choose from, or you can opt to have them assign you a theme). I have no idea why I picked this, especially since drawing draped fabric is very difficult. It may have something to do with the fact that ever since we had those frequent flier miles that were going to expire and I subscribed to WomensWearDaily, I’ve been enjoying looking at pictures of clothes.

Jackets, blankets and sheets offers lots of opportunities, I’m discovering as I do some warm up drawings… sheets of paper, bed sheet, quilts are blankets, of course, sheets of rain, night sheet, day sheets, jackets of books, jackets to wear, yellow jackets…
