Yesterday’s late afternoon run to the beach acted as most important tonic for a heart compressed with busy-ness.
The light was so beautiful at about 7:30.
And we all swam. There are D. and two friends on the rock, lining up to jump into one of the deep pools that fill the pockets around the rocks at high tide.
What beautiful scenes! New England has such beautiful beaches. I thought the first image was a watercolor. Just lovely!

Hey Chris – we did enjoy the swim. Because of the intense heat, the famously frigid waters off of Cape Ann were a little less icy. And the sky was wonderful – one of the benefits of going to the beach toward sunset.
