Phlox and ostrich ferns. Front bed with Mother’s Day petunias adding color. One of many Jack in the Pulpits in our yard… this one grows near the stone gravemarker of our two cats, Tyler and Calypso.

We gave away an entire bed of ostrich ferns when we did an addition to our house 12 years ago, keeping only a few, and this is the first year that I feel like they are back in all their splendor… they are incredible plants.
gorgeous greens–so lush, and such eye candy for me here in concrete-jungleville!
spring in New England is so amazing!
Ooh, those ostrich ferns are fantastic! I think spring ANYwhere is amazing, certainly in England after day on day of grey skies! Enjoy!
