Can’t see

I can’t see “the answer”. Somehow that is fitting. But in the small domain of a textile piece, it cannot stand. Off to writing class. Finn’s got his bone stuffed with sweet potato, chicken, and peanut butter. I have my chapter listing, notebook, and a flank muscle sore from raking.

(((Dee))) love your mapping of the dream and the how the cloth has manifested the metaphor of how hard it is to see the answer, it’s the paradigm shift our beautiful planet needs, we simply have to change our ways, all 7 billion of us, love is the answer or we’re doomed.

I have been out and about and may have not been scrupulous in my responses — sorry if I allowed a gap that gave you pause! One, I don’t think you are capable of offending me. Two, I am not generally offended by the use of the f word — particularly for emphasis on a really important point. No worries!

I hope you are right Mo that we are capable as a species of the kind of paradigm shift that is required to ensure our survival. That’s the best I can do some days – is to hope that the people with faith are right.

“Map” is what hit me, too … as of some distant land that we might hope to reach. The cloth on cloth is (oh good grief … so many possible words for this) absolutely amazing

The map idea works for me for this reason too — the sense of disorientation that this administration has provoked has so many of us looking around and wondering where we are and how we got here. Is this bottom? Is this former norm a red line anymore? If these norms of decency and adherence to the constitution are currently dispensed with, is there any getting back to them? How much more seismic can the destruction get?

Your organic & sharp marks hold a hope & truth for me, both of which are needed for change. (When I first saw your cloth on instagram (w/o glasses) I thought it was a wild kind of tree, which I loved, too)

This looks so wonderful Dee and I am enjoying watching the pennants evolve – what magic is happening. Mine is still pristine waiting to have a proper conversation wiht me about what it will become…sometimes it takes time I guess. Go well.

Understand the listening and waiting part. Look forward to watching your pennant take shape as well, Fiona.
