Picked up studio today. It felt good, necessary even. Moved two giant pin boards back downstairs, including the plot map one (I don’t need it anymore. It had become clutter). Finn wrecked the puzzle while we were out yesterday, so I slid all the pieces back into the box and put the card table away. Loving the space. If D. wasn’t coming home on Sunday, I’d take down the tree. I can wait.
Nice! Your style is so distinctive. Hope taking down the tree goes easily, once you have the chance.
Thank you Michael. That’s always nice to hear. I love putting the Christmas decorations out and I love putting them away. If I had to pick the preferred activity, it’s probably putting them away.
Just read your last posts. I loved the note about mortality and how it somehow made Christmas holier. Love all your gratitudes and your indomitable spirit. Fortunate you are to have the fighting pluck to stand up to that Doctor, and fortunate that you are not entirely alone with all this drama. Sending love and wish I had a copy of that Buddhist cartoon to share.
I’ll send you a copy of the cartoon. And thank you for pointing out how lucky I am to have company in all of this.
Enjoy the last bits of the season and the visiting…and take a DT break!
You too, Nancy ‼️
what a beautiful crab cloth!
Thank you Mo. I want to get back to some representational collage quilts. This is quite old (and never quite finished). It will be a gift later this year, which will help me finish it.
I blocked him from my newsfeed. enough.
I will be back to consuming news soon enough but this week has been a blessed reprieve.
