The gift of boats from Galadriel and Celeborn as the Fellowship leaves Lorien headed for Gondor … and especially the very end of the book as Frodo and Sam slip away, headed for Mordor.
Your beautiful pictures remind me so much of my one trip to the east coast…those calm salt water marshes….very different from the Pacific shoreline I know.
Your photos don’t need any words .. they’re wonderful. Love the Shark one π¦
Thanks, Tina. No one swimming that morning. 24 sitings in a single week!
we live in such a beautiful world
(Mo) β sun, trees, water. What could be more beautiful, indeed?
So calm and beautiful…and then the collage speaks. π
No matter where I find myself, that feeling of threat thrums in the background.
what a graceful little boat … which brought to mind the end of The Fellowship of the Ring …
and the horseshoe crab … as many times as I’ve seen them (or more accurately, their relics), they continue to be endlessly fascinating …
Remind me?
And yes those ancient-looking creatures are weird and cool and sortβve unbelievable. βEndlessly fascinatingβ is a good way to put it.

The Atlantic coast north of the cape is more like the Pacific Northwest. The marsh is very different. Flat. Calm. Subtle changes with the tide.
The silence is prolific, Lovely and provocative collage work.
Thank you. Lots more collages recently unearthed to share. Turns out Iβve done an entire Jared Kushner series!
