I had set a timer and everything. Oh well. But I’m not complaining because sleep is a cushion and a paradise, except for the dreams this morning in which I had way too much to do.
Ours is a June garden and the approach of its glory is evident everywhere. I’ll leave you with some pictures.
And also, the Times headline is below, by way of tracking the unthinkable. This happened. Is still happening.
Slept too, forgot really.
I think it might have been cloudy here anyway.
It was here
Oh my gosh…that green! Those fern pics are amazing! And you yard, flowers are so beautiful. Love the purples.
I was inside in my PJ’s…he went out…I saw it on the news. Ha
I really love the purples too. And the fuschia.
I did see it … watched from my stitching chair as the last bit of white edge flickered out … then went to bed and awoke as the light reappeared on the opposite edge …
love seeing your garden, but wait … is that a school yard beyond your fence??
Cool! Yes there’s an elementary school just over the neighbor’s fence. It’s really nice to hear kids playing throughout the academic year. A little less nice when someone takes a stick and starts dinging the swingset bars. And don’t ask about recorders.
I didn’t even know about the eclipse until the next day, someone mentioned it to me; slept through it anyway;-)
I heard some science show on the radio or I might have missed it to.
we watched. it was Emrie’s first. i went out half naked.
I didn’t even try and stay up .. knew I’d never make it. Oh your garden is beautiful .. all those ferns!! All that beauty is just what we’ve all been waiting for.
The ferns blow my mind every year.
I saw the first bit hidden under a cloud. It was way past my bedtime.
The yard looks beautiful!
I only needed to stay awake another half hour but I just couldn’t do it.
