Found poem and more rain

British cop shows are full of great vernacular. I started this “poem” because the saying “he seems the full shilling” caught my ear.

Noun. the full shilling (plural not attested) (UK, Ireland, chiefly in the negative) In control of one’s mental faculties; sane; all there.

Here are pix of two finished quilts. I’ve posted ad nauseam elsewhere, so I’ll let the quilts speak for themselves.

Show that offered quotes listed above

not sure my comments are appearing at your end, the ones I made on two previous post seem to be lost…..anyways not giving up, the jotting down sounds familiar;-)

I saw them and replied. Are they not there? Something weird is happening with comments. I used to get an arrow next to one after I replied. Now not? But I thought at least the comments were showing up.

I suspect WordPress is mucking around to “improve” things … it doesn’t bode well when they try to fix that which isn’t really broken … or perhaps change something that is problematic and end up creating a new problem in its wake

We love the language in the PBS “murder shows” too! We often say the phrases aloud to each other!
Your tree is especially fantastic! Wonderfully done Dee. 🙂
