Dogs are reliable in certain ways. The steadiness of their affection, their interest in food (our dog anyway), interest in the smells of the world. I have long stopped doubting Finn when he gets energized by something I can’t see. It’s SOMETHING.

I would’ve missed this entirely were it not for Finn’s energetic investigation!

I’ve gotten Wordle in two almost two dozen times. Nancy says she makes stories out of them. This one is the story of my neighborhood in 2024. Two words!

Back to the topic of dogs: if it were up to me I’d fire every single Secret Service agent that was bitten by one of the Biden’s dogs. How much more proof of failed allegiance does one need?

The NOISE in her head spoke of the ANGST in her heart. She wished she could shut them both down.
I do like Finn in the pic with you, but agree that he looks like he has other plans. Maybe try again 🙂 You look relaxed and wonderful and I like the flowers in the background too. An overall pleasant feel to the photo.
The snake skin is an amazing color. Pretty sure I’ll see it again, layered in a collage at some point!
Such a great photo of you, Dee. You get the greatest pics of Finn. What if you take a selfie w/Finn? Or is that what you’re doing?
Snake skins are so beautiful.
I miss wordle and spelling B. I like feeling I’m winning at something 🙂
Ken took the picture. We’ll try again with him holding a piece of cheese or something.
Great photo of you looking happy. Finn looks like he’s being polite but he knows he’s a fortunate dog to have such a great home.
He was just not into it.
Such a great picture of you … but yeah, Finn is not a happy camper … can you crop him out or is he an important part of what you are trying to communicate?
I have a cropped version. Probably gonna go with that. Or try again.
I remember when you got Finn. His eyebrows always tickle me. You do look great in this photo.
Thanks, Dana! I love
his eyebrows too.
you have snakes!!!
and yes the nose of a dog lets me realise there’s an invisible world out there…..hard to imagine life without their presence
