Happy Father’s Day!
Publishing (boring) update. SO MUCH OF THIS PART IS BORING. Ken is helping me figure out the self publishing platform, D2D. I made an account with them and supplied tax info. This will be in conjunction with Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). In advance of using D2D’s formatting feature, Ken was able to resize the margins and get the book under 500 pages. This is a good thing! I think I’ve landed on a cover with a designer from Connecticut (to be revealed before summer’s end!) AND
AND I may (finally) have written a decent blurb. Bit by bit! Now to try (for the third time) to figure out WordPress’s newsletter feature. Conventional wisdom is that it’s the most important marketing tool for writers, but? Really? Who wants another fucking thing showing up in their email box? I for one am getting six daily political newsletters.
Probably more important to rework my landing page here.

She is mystery, hidden but not so hidden behind a transparent veil. She beckons, knowing full well that how she is presenting herself,, strong arm and hand yet covered in a lacy glove, enhances her mystery but she holds a message. Lest the fragile, lacy cloth allow those who pontificate and think that she is weak, guess again: The silhouette figure with the words, “quiet birth” are the tip off for she is letting it be known here and now, on this day of honoring Fathers that she will use her strength to protect her right to choose, her right to become pregnant or not, and holds close her obligation to protect her sisters who have the only option of IVF…
This is the designated day of Father’s day and I left a comment on Jude’s blog about how my little Dad marveled that here in America, we had a designated day to honor Dads..He felt that every day was Father’s Day for he was older than many when he became a Dad. He was 42 when I was born and he was absolutely thrilled to have a daughter;; two years later, he had another little girl. He never let us forget how much we meant to him.
You got her totally.
I know this is a short mention of your father but it is still a lovely tribute.
