It’s smokey, the marine layer, but it’s not smoke.

Sports are a major preoccupation in this house. Let me just say, I had no idea that so many people had so much to say about football. There’s commentary on the plays, the players, the coaches of this season, last season, the game that’s being played and the season overall, trades, player wardrobes, hairstyles. And then there’s commentary on the commentary.

And now another week begins.

That means: MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!
I’m baking sweet potatoes for lunch and putting together a peach/raspberry crisp.

Football is amazingly chatworthy. And I also have sweet potatoes so I will bake along with YOU!!!!
Well you notice I made no value judgement about the commentary.
Ah yes, that moisture that sits right on you. We don’t get marine layer out here…well not much or often. It makes it chilly when you Knnow full well that it will warm up bunches later.
I’m not…well anymore we are not big sports watchers (commentators), but ‘It’s nice to have a hobby’ (read in a thick Jewish accent). I’m glad you are finding things to do together and things to do on your own. Good thing you like to walk and cook 🙂
Watching local weather really drives home how much the weather varies from area to area in California.
Terrific pictures and the crisp sounds yummy.
Thanks, Stephanie.
I forgot to sign in above.
