Sunday 20, Monday 21

And now Tuesday 22, April 2025.

Aside: Trump’s American carnage is fucking with my sense of time. Hence my new need to date posts.

I cleaned out two more shelves of the freezer and now deserve an award, don’t I?

Planted a teeny alchemilla mollis in a teeny pot and couldn’t be more tickled.

Finished quilting this one. Added some plants in Broderie Perse appliqué (but raw edge, not turned under) to soften the horizon line. That seems to be a new concern of mine: abrupt horizons lines.

I wouldn’t mind quilting the thing for another five or seven or eleven days. What I don’t want to do is spend a couple hours binding it. What else is new?

I love the flowered horizon. Have you ever tried pillowcasing instead of binding? I found that on small pieces binding can be distracting if anything is not plumb and square. And what does Finn make of that turkey. My crew would be tearing down the curtains if I didn’t let them out for confrontation.
