The site was being bombarded by hits from Germany (more than 1,300 in just one morning), so I made the setting private for a day. If the blog disappears again, you’ll know why.

It’s been very hot here. I know to check both the temperature and the “feels like” reading because sometimes there’s a double digit difference. For the last two days the “feels like” temperature has been over 100. Now we have thunder and rain, which we very much need.
Slow transition back from LA. I can’t tell if it’s season, age, or the state of the Republic, but I am awfully tired lately. Reading about Texas makes me sad. Reading about SCOTUS infuriates me. Reading about ICE, particularly in Los Angeles, has me shaking my head and then shaking it some more.

A decent batch of tzatziki cheered us both up midday. I base mine on Ina Garten’s recipe.

I swear she’s had more work done.

Sorry I can’t help with a WPress mystery. On Blogger it was under “permissions” . Regretably, I just shut everyone out for three days and the data scraper got bored and left. They were going back to posts from 2005 which was creepy.
Dee~ Good to see you ‘home’ again, both location and blog. That sky is a fantastic capture for this moment in history.
