Late winter vine

“If we focus the fire of our imagination, our own metaphors begin to heat and transform, opening up
new energy channels in the body.  In taking the imaginative leap, we embody
the metaphor.  In becoming the metaphor, we become whole.
The wholeness may not last, but that moment rings like a tuning fork that the cells do not forget.”

Dancing in the Flames – The Dark Goddess in the Transformation of Consciousness

I had a tooth extracted yesterday, and find myself thinking quite a bit about roots.

been ‘busy’ in the garden, tidying dead branches and leaves and withered plants……all onto a bonfire, very spirit uplifting…..watching those dancing flames….

I am hanging in there… with some pain meds, ice, sleep, and distraction through sewing. Tomorrow? visit to regular dentist to repair crown that fell off during extraction.

I LOVE spring clean up in the garden! I look forward to it. This year will be very challenging to hold off until the days are really long enough, because of the weird warm weather. Yesterday, however, a howling cold wintry wind blew through this region.
