It’s a Salem day. Finn: “Wait. What?”
Have no fear! Rafi the Handsome Dog Walker will be here!
The light is beautiful today. More work is being finished.
I can’t resist little mice, as it turns out. This one was supposed to be a gift. Not!

The Red House .. have I told you lately how much I love your quilts?? ๐๐ I do.. I do.. I do …..
oh you have and thank you, Tina! Tomorrow I’ll post the red house. Finished.
I think I’d like to see a photo of handsome dog walker ๐ ๐ Although he’s probably no competition for your handsome Finn!
Iโll work on it. ๐
that’s a very cool little mouse what did you make it out of?
Thatโs one of my Pottery Barn finds.
Ha! I, too, have been known to keep prospective gifts for myself, although I always have a stern internal scolding for doing so. I’d keep the mouse too. Also the quilts, which, like so much of your work, are both active and coherent. Finn has such a lovable face.
โActive and coherentโ. I like that. I may take that in as a personal motto, in fact. Active and coherent (well, most of the time?)
Oh, ha00that opening huge shot of Finn was just like the sun coming out! Big smile on this whole post and your gorgeous shots<
Hey Michelle! Hope your radiatorโs fixed and your appetiteโs back!
Well there you are … a post worth waiting for, what?
Ha ha. Youโre funny. Do you make puns, too? I know you like crossword puzzles!
handsome Finn! I just love your house quilts – so agree with Tina’s comment, that Red House, love, love!
I would love to see a progress post of how you go about designing these little house quilts.
I will collate a bunch of shots of a piece soon. My method is a little happenstance. โImprovโ is probably too elevated a term. But there are some constancies: prime among them a willingness to combine pieced cloth with appliquรฉ.
Love Finn! Most excellent picture of that handsome furbaby. And the houses—oh yes, I do love the houses, and would want to keep them all if they were already in my possession—as well as the tree AND the mouse. ๐
It just came to me that it is Finney’s eyes that get me, as they are so much like my Sonny’s (childhood dog).
