Gratitude and the Color Blue

A good long walk. A full fridge. Healthy fam.

That’s it, really, a gratitude post.

But here are some collections of BLUE*

* prompted by Acey at SparklingLotus

She asks, among other things: what blues are you drawn to and what blues do you avoid?

Dee, Love the post! Your photos of blue, so engaging and the inclusion of the poster for the exhibit, stellar for me. I listened to a Zoom webinar about that exhibit, great to stimulate memory cells. Am taking Jane Dunnewold’s Creative Strength Training, working on archetypes and colors for the month of March and have discovered that blue is my least collected cloth or thread color, unless indigo…so I printed off your photos to work as a stimulation, energizer for me to do more blue exploring in my work….a big thanks.

Sorry so late in commenting. I used to look at Jane Dunnewold’s work quite a bit. Admired it. She has a wonderful sense of color. Let me know how class goes!

So much here to love Dee! I’m a blue-jeans-blue kind of gal! Too much to mention…but I love the Blue peeking out of that change bowl and the way you can post these pics in such an organized way 🙂

I have been away (quite literally, for the first time in over a year) … and now back, so much to catch up on, so much inspiration …
