I am piecing up the tiny scraps that come with making the log cabin squares. Not surprisingly, I prefer the teeny compositions. I am intrigued by their scale and the sense of possibilities. Each could stand alone or they could be combined into a cloth that hangs together. How to decide?!!
Your little assemblages are so pretty. I love the color combinations.
thanks Dana. for some reason they are pure magic to me…
Gorgeous pieces. I love the fabric with the dials!
Thank you. I love that print too. Originally it was black and white.
Love these scrappy little compositions … was just browsing through Project Gutenberg and found “Needlework Economies” by Flora Klickman, who describes always having a box of scraps 1 inch square or less to piece together. Hers were much more uniform than yours … which is to say, far less visually appealing
One inch square is pretty teeny !
