Happy Easter or Passover!
We just had a delicious roast chicken up in Salem with my sister. The wind was cold and blustery earlier, when I took Finn to the Upper Field, but the snow drops have emerged on the south side of the house and most of the snow out back is gone. For the holiday, I treated myself to daffodils and some potted hyacinth. Now, to finish the celebration — a little chocolate!
Love the cloth! Ya can’t go wrong with a little sunshine!! The flowers are beautiful and filled with hope for Spring 🙂
sun and daffodils — what could be better — you’re right, Nancy!
When we first married we bought a little rancher and planted sunflowers which grew up past the lower edge of the roofline … this cloth brings me back to that wonderful time. Thank you!
P.S. We thought we were most excellent gardeners, but it turned out that the house had been built on a former barnyard, so the soil was turbo-charged.
that’s such a funny story, Liz… though the good, good soil shouldn’t take away from the glory of those flowers or your nice idea of edging the house with them… I LOVE sunflowers — way more than roses, for instance.
wow! the yellow really sparks the vibe of this cloth!
I’ve been thinking about home today & love your house in the moon & sun light!
Thanks Cindy.
Ahhhh your house is stunning with these rays over it 😉
